On the other hand, a well made pair of glasses can last a long time and feel comfortable all day. Online shopping will always have a bit of risk, but experience makes it easier. Whenever I find something that actually works well, I tend to reorder it later.

Smaller shops can be surprisingly friendly if they care about repeat customers. If a piece of jewelry keeps its color and does not irritate the skin, I consider it a win. It makes it easier to compare with an old pair of glasses that already fits well. Personally I like a mix of design, comfort and realistic pricing. If you sit in front of a screen for many hours, these small features make a difference.
