With more presentations taking place online, I have begun paying attention to the tops I wear during work calls. A shirt that looks balanced in the mirror can seem distracting on screen, particularly beside the pale wall behind me. I am not trying to look formally dressed every day; I mainly want my face to remain easy to see. I can keep the camera position and room lighting consistent while comparing a few solid colors from my existing wardrobe. I found a page about color analysis and would like to use the idea as a starting point for these comparisons. Small stripes are already on my avoid list because they look restless in the preview, even when the fit is good. Should I review a recorded sample after each change, or can the live camera preview provide a fair comparison? Another uncertainty is whether I should prioritize the color near my face or its relationship with the room background. I would welcome a simple comparison routine, particularly one that does not assume a single color works for every person. |
